Nothing to do with LOST

So this has nothing to do with LOST, but during Christmas I ran into Caren Lund at Extraordinary Desserts!! And she was totally preggy! She's now living in Virginia? one of those states on the east coast. She's married to Joe, and they are expecting their first baby! So sweet, and it was really nice to run into her. She's still the same very sweet Caren.

LOST Season 5 is back!

Hello all...I know this blog has been totally lacking...lets just be honest, it's dead. But I'm trying to bring it back to life. I'm not giving up on it yet...why??? Because so far this season of LOST has been awesome. It's all twisty turny...I'm completely LOST!! So having your help might clear my mind of some things I might have overlooked.

Okay...so already so much has happened in the past few episodes. First...whats up with the time traveling??? And who is that lady? Faraday's Mom? She was in some of the past episodes right? I remember her from somewhere.

I love the fact that Jin and Sun could have the possibility of getting back together. I was so happy to see Jin back...I absolutely love his character. And how crazy was it that he ran into the french lady when she was still pregnant...that totally makes sense to why she was so weird like that.

Okay...and whats up with Sawyer and Blond girl doctor lady...I forget her name...the last episode showed another love triangle this time with Sawyer, blond girl and Kate! Drama!

I know this is a little short, sporadic blog of LOST...but hopefully others can add some insight and questions.

I hope everyone is doing well...I miss everyone dearly...especially our LOST conversations, no one watches LOST here and it drives me nutso!

CRAZY BANANAS!!

So...I just finished watching the latest episode of LOST with Sun and Jin's flash-forward!! It made me cry...it made me gasp...and it made say, "what the heck, NO WAY, Walt's Dad!"

LOST has been very good since they started up this season with the flash-forwards...but so much has gone on and I'm really missing our post-LOST discussions at Scripps. So, here are my questions and concerns:

1. Where is Walt?? hopefully we find that out in the upcoming episode.

2. Would you trust the captain, or what is really going on with this Whitmore dude? Obviously the island has mystical powers and heals and all that, but do you really think Ben is looking out for the island's own safety?

3. In the episode of Kate's flash-forward...is that baby at the end really her baby, or do you think it could Aaron, Claire's baby.

4. So now we know that Hurley, Jack, Kate, and Sun are one of the Oceanic 6...(did I miss anyone else?) there should be two more. Do you think Jin dies on the island, in transit of getting off, or when they arrived already in Korea? (So I have to admit, I did shed a little tear when I found out Jin died...so sad)

5. What is up with the new explorers that were sent to the island? what do you think their actual objective is? and the episode with Desmond's time travels...so far one of my most favorite ones of the season.

I'd like to know what your thoughts are on the show...I dunno if anyone checks this blog thing anymore...I'll send an e-mail update, cause I need answers!!

HEROS update

So...I just read Roberta's comments on the first 2 episodes of HEROS. I know there have been more episodes since then. I feel so confused when watching the show...and at the same time I'm hooked.

First Sylar...what is going on? What happened to his powers and do you think he'll turn the hispanic bro/sis bad? or to kill people for him?

Also, Claire with the new boy...you think he's bad? Like, working for "the company"? secretly?? I dunno. I'm thinking he might be bad.

I have no idea what is going on with the killings. Do you think that Nathan's mom really scratched herself? Also what is up with Matt the cop's dad...how horrible.

What is up with Nathan's mirror images?? The blown up Nathan?? So wierd. And what about Peter, what is he doing in Ireland? and why does he not remember anything, and how did he get into a truck storage thingy.

I truly miss all the Hero's conversations/discussions from the lab. No one really watches it here. So I'm missing out. Also does anyone know when LOST comes bacK?

HEROS is coming in a month!

So I just saw a commercial for HEROS...it should be coming back September 24th!! So excited. Oh and I heard that during comic-con it was almost impossible to get into the HEROS panel. But my friend got to get in, and he said that they are going to put out another series called HEROS Origin...and it will be played on NBC, introducing new characters. How fun!! I can't wait to watch and check it out. Now that SYTYCD isn't on anymore...I really have nothing to look forward to when it comes to TV! Not until fall season comes about.

For those who watch So You Think You Can Dance...here is the update:

New partners were arranged:
1. Lacey and Danny --> Samba
2. Jaime and Dominic --> Viennese Waltz (with a Spanish twist)
3. Kameron and Sabra --> Contemporary
4. Pasha and Lauryn --> Hip Hop
5. Sara and Neil --> Disco

Everyone did so well compared to last week. Last week seemed sort of boring to me. Here is my opinion of each:

1. Lacey and Danny: Of course very hot, Lacey I think is very good at all dances. And hello, Danny has a perfect body, and although he wasn't the best with the technical stuff, I think he did very good.
2. Jaime and Dominic: It was also good, but I did not like the choreography. I would have perferred a more traditional waltz. But Jaime I love and I thought she was really good. Dominic not so much.
3. Kameron and Sabra: I love Sabra and she was great, I also though Kameron was very good, but the judges didn't like Kameron so much.
4. Pasha and Lauryn: not a huge fan of Lauryn, but the routine by Shane Sparks was soooo good. I thought Pasha did excellent with the hip hop routine, especially considering that he's a ballroom guy. But can't go wrong with a transformer themed routine.
5. Neil and Sara: Sara is my favorite girl, and Neil is totally growing on me. I think they had the best routine for the night. Disco is back...it was a good one.

Also with all the couple dancing, each person danced the same routine choregraphed by Wade Robson...theme was anti-war sort of...just to make a change in the world. I thought everyone did really well, but Danny especially well, he made it a bit different. So at the end of the night I voted for Sara, Jaime, and Danny!!

The results: Jaime and Lauryn were bottom two girls and Jaime got voted off. Kameron and Dominic were the bottom two boys and Kameron got voted off. I'm happy because I like Dominic but sad because I really liked Jaime more than Lauryn.

Can't wait till this coming Wednesday!!
